A beautiful piece of vintage pure silk saree fabric, rescued from a traditional Indian saree and given a new life.

This piece has a distinctive green and blue checked pattern, finished with a contrasting mauve-toned border featuring fine decorative woven details and touches of gold. The silk has a lovely soft drape and subtle sheen that becomes especially apparent when the fabric is gathered or folded.

At approximately 70 x 80 cm, it's a wonderfully versatile size.
