We believe craft should be slow, honest, and full of soul.
While traveling through rural India, our founder Zak discovered women transforming old saris into long, colorful ribbons. That spark of creativity inspired Craftamma, which has grown to include hand-spun yarns from sari silk, cotton, nettle, and hemp.

Our Journey with Etsy

For 12 years, Craftamma thrived on Etsy, connecting with makers worldwide. Rising platform fees and shipping challenges made it increasingly difficult to sustain our business and continue supporting the artisans who create our products.
To ensure that our artisans continue to receive fair support and that we can keep creating high-quality, hand-crafted ribbons and yarns, we moved Craftamma to our own website.
